England U-21 Players Make Their Mark in Egypt

All of England's three players in the Under-21 World Croquet Championships in Cairo have done well.

James Goodbun (Ramsgate) won his block with 3 wins out of three. He beat Kieran Murphy (Ireland) 10-5,Mahmoud Hassan(Egypt) 10-4, and Moustafa Nezer 10-9.

William Gee(Nottingham)won his block with two wins out of three.

Rachel Rowe (Ashby) lost all her block games so had to compete in the preliminary round of the knock out. She played Noura Nezar (Egypt) and won by two games to one 5-7, 7-6,7-5.
