Ryde croquet club could not have been better prepared, or its members more helpful - lawns cut every other morning, refreshments on tap, barbeque, etc. at the club in the evening, need I go on!
The lawns are a little slower than ideal, but with the recent weather no one could expect more. In any case, there are plenty of errors with failed TPs all over the place. Timings mid afternoon Saturday were 10.4 and 10.7
Martin Murray is looking to win the event for the 3rd time,and hoping for Scottish vistories in at least two of theother events. Richard beat Maartin to force a play-off if Graham can win.
