Update on AC Inter-Counties 2012

As it was announced earlier, it is proposed that we run two CA Select teams this year to maintain the normal second division schedule. It also may have been noticed that the Organiser's page now includes Shropshire with Brian Christmas as its Organiser. Brian asked for Shropshire to be included as he had noticed quite a number of players who might in the future be available for a Shropshire team. This has in fact come to our aid this year as we have had applications from five players who are qualified for Shropshire. Together with one more associated player we now have the core for our second CA Select team which will be known as 'Shropshire Plus'. It will of course have the same status as the Select team and thus cannot win the division.

All other players that have so far applied will be placed in the normal CA Select team. As I am sure most players will want to make accommodation arrangements, I would hope to finalise the CA Select team by March 11 latest. If you have not yet applied and would like to be considered, please get in touch with me asap.
