WCF Golf Croquet World Team Championship - The selection approach

All players are requested to note that the tournament details for the World Team Championship (on this website and in the Fixtures Calendar 2012) reflect the WCF requirements for confirmation of the intention of countries to compete and are not an accurate statement of the approach that the CA will use to select the team to represent England. Specifically, 15 February was not the closing date for declaration of availability of players and selection did not take place on 28 February. The GC Selection Committee will meet in the coming days to formulate the selection policy (including the relevant dates) and will publish those details on the CA website.

The WCF has recently announced that England will be one of the following eight teams competing in the First Division of the Championship:

The First Division will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 26th November until 2nd December 2012.
