WCF Webmaster

The WCF is seeking a webmaster, with the necessary skills and experience to maintain and onward-develop the WCF's new Joomla-based website.

As well as settling-in and refining the new website, there is scope to introduce a number of add-ins to provide additional functionality. Examples include:

• Some communities capability, so that players may log-in and upload/ maintain their biographies and photos
• Some forms capability so people may nominate Hall of Fame candidates
• A survey/ feedback capability so players can give their feedback from championships and players can contribute their views on draft rule changes.

The new site is written using the Joomla Content Management System. Knowledge and experience should include this or similar CMS tools, best practice security and privacy standards, and HTML standards including meta-data. The role includes liaising, on behalf of the WCF Management Committee, with the service provider.

The position attracts a small honorarium - amount to be discussed.
