Paul Wolff won the Hamptworth Handicap Weekend

Paul Wolff won the Hamptworth Handicap Weekend beating Keith Mackenzie-Ross.

There were 12 entrants for this competition and Brian Fisk came up with the following format: four blocks of three, so each round the spare player was matched against another spare. This caused some confusion but worked well in that it produced a winner, second, and third from each block after three games. It also allowed knock out competitions of two rounds the following day. The lawns were fast and a bit tricky.

The weekend was enjoyed by all having had a tournament supper in a local pub and a Carvery in the club house on Sunday.
