Croquet on Television 15 January 2013

Michael Portillo's TV series "Great British Railway Journeys" on Tuesday 15th January on BBC 2 at 6.30pm includes a feature on croquet at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon.

The link with railways is that the old tennis ground at Worple Road existed originally as three croquet lawns and can be seen (now as the sports ground of Wimbledon Girls' School) from the line between Raynes Park and Wimbledon.
