Liz Budworth, the Croquet Association's administrative assistant, has retired after nine years in the post.

Liz joined the Croquet Association in 2005 from the International Badminton Federation when it relocated from Cheltenham to Malaysia. Her sports administration background was helpful as Liz was responsible for much of the regular administration of the Croquet Association including maintaining membership and tournament details.

Elizabeth Larsson, CA Manager, said: "Liz has been an invaluable asset to the CA: her knowledge of the members (and CA systems) was excellent. We wish her well in her retirement."

Liz has been replaced by Steve Mowbray who has worked in IT and golf club administration.

As a momento of her time with the CA, the Chairman of the CA, Jeff Dawson, presented Liz with a turned wooden bowl made by local woodturner, John Jaques, who made the CA's Spier's Trophy.
