Bamford leads Great Britain to 2003 MacRobertson Shield

Several of us enjoyed the very patriotic Reg being introduced at Sonoma as being from 'South Africa and England'. However the fact that Reg is playing in England and playing so well means that the British players are forced to raise their game in an effort to compete.

I will be surprised if there is not a similar rise in standard of play in England as there was in the early 1990s when I, Chris and Dave came through and in the late 70s in NZ when Jackson first started playing at a new level.

It may be to Reg's chagrin that in doing what he loves, beating up the Brits, he is creating a monster.
