Northampton beat Wrest Park 4-3 in a very hard fought match at Northampton, with two games taking over 5 hours each. The match was played on 12th August and completed a week later on the 19th. It was agreed that games would not be time limited and, because of an evening booking for the lawns, two games had to be pegged down.
