Steve Piercy won Dorset Open GC Championship

Thirteen players contested the initial block with four tied on nine wins:

• William Ormerod
• Steve Piercy
• Richard Brooks
• Jonathan Powe

Applying the CA Tournament Regulations eliminated William on who beat who. Then on net points, Jonathan was dropped.

In the final, best of three with the block game counting as the first, Steve defeated Richard 7-3, having won their block game.

East Dorset were great hosts and even organised for the rain showers to be limited to very early mornings.
