Bamford and Mulliner won the British Open GC Doubles Championship

Reg Bamford (ZAF) and Stephen Mulliner (ENG) won the 2016 British GC Open Doubles Championship for the fourth time since 2007 by defeating the defending champions, Pierre Beaudry (BEL) and Harry Dodge (ENG), by 7-4, 7-5 in the final at Southwick.

In the 3/4th play-off, Toby Savage (ENG) and David Wise (AUS) beat Andrew Dymond (ENG) and Guy Scurfield (ENG) by 7-3, 5-7, 7-4.

The Plate final was won by Richard Brooks (ENG) and Steve Thornton (AUS) who defeated the Northampton pair of Peter Dowd and Lionel Tibble 10-7.
