Mike Huxley won the Hamptworth GC B-Level National Series Tournament

Even in the the intense heat on both days, the croquet played was of the highest quality and played in a fantastically friendly atmosphere, especially the final on Sunday, which was an energy sapping 3 hours+.

This quality final, which, considering the speed and dryness of the lawns, contained distance clearing of the highest order in all three games. In the end Mike Huxley of Guildford came out on top against Noel Gill (Hunstanton), after a very close first two games of 7-6 & 5-7 with the third game ending 7-3 in favour of Mike Huxley.

The whole tournament was very much enjoyed by all participants.
