Roger Mills receives the Coach of the Year Award for 2017

Coach of the Year Award for 2017 goes to Roger Mills of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth clubs.

There were a number of areas of coaching undertaken by Roger in 2017. They include club coaching of temporary members when he involved other club members as assistants throughout. Through Roger's humorous and practical approach Budleigh gained over 25 new members. Roger also gave generously of his time and energy running coaching sessions converting members from GC to AC on short lawns. He contributed to the setting up of the South West Academy and in 2017 produced his own course on mastering the 4 ball break.
