Ian Plummer receives the Lifetime Coaching Award for 2018

Ian was awarded the Council Medal in 2010 for his many contributions to croquet including coaching. Since then he has never tired from coaching Oxford players. Students of his have gone on to great heights in croquet with at least a dozen of his alumni playing in world championships such as Jenny Clarke, Samir Patel, Gabrielle Higgins and Rob Wilkinson. In summary Ian has coached generations of Oxford students to very high standards and he has made many of his coaching materials freely available on his website.
