Chester vs Broadwas match report
Chester and Broadwas played their second round / quarter final match in the 2019 Secretary's Shield tournament on Wednesday 10th July at Shrewsbury CC, that being about midway between the two clubs. The match, played in pleasant conditions, was evenly balanced, where the final result could easily have gone either way but Chester, having been trailing in two of the games, finally had their chances and managed to overtake Broadwas during the last ten minutes on the clock to give them the edge and the final victory. Chester is now due to play Ashby in the semi-final.
