2nd January 2021 (CqE Official News)

The World Croquet Federation is asking its members to approve a new, 7th, edition of the Laws of Association Croquet, following several years of drafting and consultation by its AC Laws Committee. If approved by the WCF, the Council of the Croquet Association will be asked to adopt it for use in this country from 1st March, 2021.

An introductory statement, proposed 7th edition laws and list of changes from the current, 6th, edition, have been published on the WCF website. A list of changes since the last consultative draft, which was published in August 2020, has also been compiled. A replacement for the commentary is in draft.

Please inform Roger Staples, the Chairman of the CA's AC Laws Committee, before 16th January, if you have queries or objection to the CA approving and adopting the new Edition, to replace the current Laws.
