Dr. Ron Carter, a retired GP who is a member of the Ealing club, has been appointed as the CA's National Safeguarding Officer, to undertake the national role defined in its safeguarding policy. He takes over from Jean Hargreaves, who was the first person to hold the position. The CA is very grateful to them both for taking on this task.
