Richard Skidmore vs John Richardson 3-5T, 7-4 (Unfinished)

Games were timed in rather murky threatening weather, which did not in fact materialise.
The key moment in the morning session was the running of the golden hoop by Richard Skidmore to give Wrest Park a 2-1 lead in rubbers.

In the afternoon, Glynis Davies rapidly extended that lead to 3-1 but both Rob Chatwin and Richard Keighley were taken to the golden hoop
in their deciding Singles games before providing Wrest Park with an emphatic victory by a rather flattering scoreline. Richard Skidmore and
John Richardson agreed to leave their rubber unfinished at one game all.

Thanks to Francis Lambert for managing the match.
