5th May 2023 (CqE Official News)

On 2 May 2023 the CA Funding Committee decided to award bursaries under the CA scheme to:

Euan Burridge (Nottingham)

Jack Good (Bowdon)

Callum Johnson (York)

Steve Leonard (East Dorset) and

Aston Wade (Hurlingham)

The total amount of these awards was £2,800.

The scheme was formulated in 2021 to provide financial support each year for potential international players of both Association and Golf Croquet. It is primarily intended to assist players under the age of 25 who wish to take part in tournaments and other challenging croquet activities to improve their performance and require assistance with the costs involved. Preference is given to applicants who are under 25 but older players may also apply. A bursary is a grant to a successful applicant rather than reimbursement of a proportion of the expenses incurred by him or her.
