16 pairs contested the 2023 Doubles Championships with the top four from two blocks of eight progressing to the KO Stage.

Robert Fletcher (Aus) and local player Dominic Nunns formed a strong partnership but had to work hard to overcome Richard Bilton and Stuart M Smith 7-6, 7-5 in the first semi-final. Jenny Clarke (NZ) and Stephen Mulliner had lost to the 2022 champions, Euan Burridge and Callum Johnson, at the same stage last year but turned the tables this time with a 4-7, 7-3, 7-6 win.

The final was another close contest with Fletcher & Nunns taking the first 7-6 and Clarke & Mulliner equalising decisively 7-4. However, in the final game, Fletcher & Nunns were the better shots and deservedly finished 7-3 winners.
