Results of the CA Elections 2023

Three of the members elected in 2019 to serve on the CA Council will reach the end of their term in October this year. They are:

Patricia Duke-Cox (East and West Midlands); Peter Nelson (South West) and Samir Patel (South East)

On 8 June 2023 I issued a Call for Nomination of candidates to replace those retiring members. The closing date was 5 August 2023.

I have received the following valid nominations:

For the East and West Midlands: Dr Timothy M King

For the South West: Mr Stuart M Smith

For the South East: Mr Samir Patel

These are the only nominations that I have received. I can now declare that each of the nominated candidates has been elected unopposed. They will serve as Members of the CA Council for their respective constituencies from 7 October 2023.

It is expected that Dr King and Mr Smith will be appointed as Trustees of Croquet England. Samir Patel is already the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Croquet England.
