After playing for 6 hours in the pouring rain on the Saturday, the Players, having looked at Sunday's forecast decided to finish early and play three games on the Sunday. It turned out to be an inspired choice as Sunday was just what it said on the tin!

The final round saw three players on 3 wins each in contention. Last year's winner Sarah Barley was playing Stephen Nixon and Martin Russell playing John Reddish!

Earlier rounds had seen Martin beat Stephen and Sarah beat Martin so who beat whom was key.

Martin won +7t to win and Stephen Nixon defeated Sarah +6 to take second place.
