Tournament Regulations Review Results

Huge thanks to everyone who provided feedback to the Tournament Regulations review group through the survey in August.

We had a fantastic response from over 400 people, and it was incredibly useful to have feedback from such a wide range of players and volunteers, including a lot of very insightful comments raising points we hadn't necessarily thought of.

Our report to the Executive was published in November, with a 3-page summary of the recommendations and decisions, and a rather lengthier section explaining our reasoning and the relevant input from the survey for those who are particularly interested. An addendum on a few matters the group didn't have time to deal with in the main report, in particular the arrangements for Grade 1 Championships, has now also been published. The draft Tournament Regulations for 2025 implementing the approved recommendations are well advanced.

There is also a more digestible - if still not short - summary of what is going to be changing for singles and doubles (not team) events. It includes other things it would be useful to know, which our work has suggested aren't as well-known as they might be.
