Is this the greatest croquet lawn ever created? You've seen the write-up - now try for yourself.
Bury Croquet Club proudly presents The Heaton Park Challenges - a series of one-day competitions for all classes of player to raise funds for the Club. There will be small prizes for the winners, but tremendous satisfaction for every player knowing they have played on some of the world's finest lawns.
All events start at 9.30am and go on until dusk.
All events are subject to sufficient entries being received by the allocation date of Saturday 20 September. When entering Advanced please specify whether you are prepared to play Saturday, Sunday, either day or both days. We will try to take as many players as possible but reserve the right to limit the field, and do not guarantee that both days will be available.
Catering is provided by the facility's caterer, whose prices are very reasonable. Bar also available.
Entry fee: 12 pounds per day.
