Do join us at Nottingham next weekend

[<<] [>>]
15th September 2003 (Tournament Vacancies)

Due to a couple of late cancellations, we have some places at Nottingham Autumn Handicap weekend. This will be 3 days, Friday 19th Sept to Sun 21st, for the Eclipse Goblet. Do come and join us if you can. An extra referee would be especially welcome! Try out the lawns recently used by top players for the Spencer Ell. (The hoops will of course be set appropriately for handicap play.)

We also have an offer of accommodation for up to 2 with a club member.

Format - flexible Swiss. We will strive to make sure each player gets as much play as they wish, (5 lawns and a max of 20 players) but will also accommodate leave or breaks between games where requested. £20 entry fee.

For anyone who hasn't visited our club, we are set in the beautiful surroundings of the Highfields park, designed and landscaped in the 1920s thanks to local benefactor Jesse Boot of Boots the Chemists. The croquet pavilion is actually a listed building.

For more information or to book a place, please contact me (not the tournament booking secretary) as soon as possible.
