Golf Croquet Laws: Official Rulings update

From time to time there are situations in a game of golf croquet where it is found that the laws of the game do not cover specific circumstances or a particular law is difficult to apply. In these cases an official ruling is necessary. Since the introduction of the present edition of the laws in 2008, there have been a small number of such cases and the CA GC Laws Committee has issued an appropriate ruling, which has been displayed on our web site.
I am pleased to say that the WCF GC Rules Committee has now instigated a similar official ruling procedure and their first batch of rulings will shortly be published on the WCF web site. The CA GC Laws Committee has been involved fully with the WCF Rulings that cover items already raised within the CA, plus items raised by other countries. We have therefore decided to adopt the WCF wording for all rulings and this is now shown on our web site as "International Rulings". These rulings replace the CA versions and are effective immediately. They have the same standing as the laws themselves.
