    2. High Wycombe Rail Station is only a ten-minute bus/taxi ride away.
    3. While there is a small clubhouse, for larger courses the welcome / classroom sessions are sometimes conducted in the Hazlemere Memorial Hall, see hazlemerehall.org, a double-storey green building on the other side of the hedge to the High Wycombe lawns.
    4. There is a toilet available at the club, accessible without having to access the clubhouse.
  2. Lunch arrangements vary according to the venue for the course. At High Wycombe, a packed lunch is recommended. For other course venues, see the Special Conditions for that course.
  3. Players are encouraged to book courses and pay online via the Croquet England website's Tournament Entry System (TES).
  4. If it is not possible to use the online system, entries can be made by email to the Course Secretary using a Croquet England event entry form, downloadable from the CqE website.
  5. Entries by email should be accompanied by confirmation of a bank transfer of the appropriate amount to Chiltern Croquet Academy; a/c 33117898 sort code 20-03-84, using as the reference "Your surname", followed by the Course Reference defined for the event.
  6. Reservations for courses are based on the time that the booking is confirmed by payment.
  7. A reserve list will be maintained for those who wish to be included.
  8. While in the past the usual practice for coaching courses has been to wear whites, and that is what our coaches will normally wear, it is not necessary for our courses. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the season and forecast weather, mindful that flat-soled shoes are essential.

  10. Joining information, with course specific details, including where the welcome session will be held, is distributed about a week before the start of the course.
  11. If an U18 wishes to attend a course, they should notify the Course Secretary at the time of booking to ensure that the appropriate safeguarding measures can be put in place.

  5. Plastic markers must be used in double-banked games. Players who use metal coins will be disqualified.
  6. Leave will only be granted in emergencies.
  7. Coffee and tea will be available, together with a fully-licensed bar. Light lunches will be available for tournaments with strong entries; please book lunches on entry and stipulate all dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerance or coeliac disease.
  8. At all tournaments, dogs must remain in the car park during play. The Club reserves the right to ban dogs whose behaviour disturbs competitors' concentration.

  2. Enrolling on a course is a simple exercise using the online entry system on our website. This provides you with secure payment arrangements using a debit or credit card via PayPal.
  3. Morning and afternoon tea and coffee will be available each day, but please bring your own packed lunch.
  4. If you need to cancel a course, the course fee will be refunded if you give us at least 10 days' notice. Refunds may be available after that date if your place on the course is filled. An administration fee of £5.00 will be made for all refunds.
