Chiltern Academy Courses
- The Chiltern Croquet Academy's (CCA's) courses are held at a range of venues as listed on the Croquet England Fixtures Calendar and on CCA website.
- Generally players are encouraged to book courses and pay online via the Croquet England Tournament Entry System (TES). Exceptionally, some course bookings are managed by the host venue. Such courses are shown with their venue in parentheses in the course listing on the Chiltern Croquet Academy website. While these will appear in the Fixtures Calendar, they will not be bookable via TES online.
- For courses not being managed by the host venue, if it is not possible to use the online system, entries can be made by email to the Course Secretary.
- Entries by email should be accompanied by confirmation of a bank transfer of the appropriate amount to Chiltern Croquet Academy; a/c 33117898 sort code 20-03-84, using as the reference "Your surname", followed by the Course Reference defined for the event.
- Reservations for courses are based on the time that the booking is confirmed by payment.
- A reserve list will be maintained for those who wish to be included.
- Wearing whites is not necessary for our courses. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the season and forecast weather, mindful that flat-soled shoes are essential for courses involving time on the lawn.
- Joining information, including course-specific details such as the location of the welcome session, is distributed approximately one week before the start of each course.
- If an U18 wishes to attend a course, they should notify the Course Secretary at the time of booking to ensure that the appropriate safeguarding measures are put in place.
- Lunch arrangements vary depending on the course venue; see the Special Conditions for that course.
- Photographs may be taken at CCA courses and may be used for publicity by CCA and CqE. Participants who do not wish their photographs to be used in this way are invited to advise the course leader before the start of the course. In the absence of a such a notification participants' agreement to the use of their image in this way will be assumed.
