MacRobertson Shield Day 9 - Battle of Midway

Mark was first to finish by lunch with a fantastic win to go 5-2 up in the test. Unfortunately James and Skip were next to finish but at the hands of Matt and Tom respectively.

Then the crowd were treated to a 2 ball finish in the Rob and Zack 2nd game after Rob won the first with a TP. After some great shooting from both players Rob came through with a plus 4.

This left Jack at one up with a interactive 2nd game v Kyle, while Jamie was one all v Ben.

Eventually Jack produced a great 3 ball break to beat Kyle.

At this stage this left Jamie on 4 back and peg v Ben's 2 and 4 back. After Jamie stuck in 4 back to finish Ben embarked on a tp but came to grief at 2 back. Jamie then nervlously finished to the applause of the crowd and England team giving England another days win on the middle day of the middle test and an 8-4 lead.

Tough hoops and fast lawns contributed to some tense games.
