Played at Cheltenham on August 17, Swanage (South West Federation) defeated Brodsworth (Yorkshire Federation) 6-0 with one singles left unfinished at 1-1. Despite the handicaps of the two teams being very similar this was a convincing display by Swanage who lost only one game during the whole day.
