Croquet England Strategy and Policy
- The Standing Orders and Practice Book define the committee's areas of responsibility
- Croquet England Strategic Aims linked from The Constitution - note that "Croquet England will:
- Support growth and encourage competitive play
- Encourage and provide training of Handicappers.
- Develop methods of persuading and training its Associates to aim to improve to their full potential.
- The Handicap Committee reports to the Executive and has the following responsibilities
- The approval of handicaps and changes in handicaps for GC, AC, SC and One-Ball.
- Matters relating to handicap procedure, and the appointment of Croquet England, Federation and Club Handicappers (for both AC and GC) and the maintenance of the official list of such appointments, ensuring that all appointees are active.
- Training and education of handicappers at all levels.
- The selection of the winners of the Most Improved Player Awards (Apps, Steel, Spiers and Colman trophies) and the criteria for the same..
