Fixtures Calendar Help

You can customise your view of the Fixtures Calendar to simplify it.

Tournament entry forms can be downloaded from the downloads section.

For Entries Secretaries and Directors

During the Fixtures Calendar production period, Entries Secretaries and Directors can edit fixtures for which they are responsible. Short video guides are available and are recommended as a quick introduction:

Fixture Secretaries can view and manage their fixtures using the main menu option My Admin Fixtures.

See also the Fixtures Calendar Preparation Stages.

Clash Checking

When viewing a fixture, a twistie (expandable section), Clashes with..., shows other fixtures in the current calendar that overlap with it. This helps with planning during calendar production.

Fixture Dates

For the best chance of being accepted, entries should be made on or before the Allocation Deadline.

For full details, refer to the Tournament Regulations, section C2 Tournament Programme and section C3 Procedures for Dealing with Entries.

Date Meaning
Allocation Deadline Entries must be received on or before this date to be considered for the initial allocation of places; If no date is shown, the organiser has not specified one and entries are accepted in order of receipt. If the event becomes full, TES entries received after this date are placed at the end of the reserve list. For selection events: this is the day before selections are announced. The TES payment system opens 6 days before (to allow for early selection).
Allocation The day after the Allocation Deadline (or soon after), the organiser determines which entries to accept. For selection events: this is the selection announcement date. The TES payment system opens 7 days before (to allow for early selection).
Closing Entries might not be accepted after this date. If no date is shown, the organiser has not specified one. TES will not accept entries from players after this date (except for selection events). For selection events: availability registration closes at 23:59.
Draw The date the tournament draw (who-plays-whom) is published (usually only for championships). For selection events: payment due date. Players who have not paid may be removed and replaced.
