Jeff Dawson won Hurlingham's 2004 Annual Tournament

Hurlingham's 2004 Annual Tournament finished on Sunday 15 August. We were lucky with the weather. Both weekends were sunny and warm and we missed the worst of the storms during the week.

The Hurlingham Cup was retained by Jeff Dawson who beat Nick Parish -26, +13TPO, +17TP in a fascinating best of three final.

The Turner Cup: David Tester of Medway (Runner-up Nigel Polhill of Ealing).

The Younger Cup: Toby Jessel of Hurlingham (Runner-up Peter Spiller of Hurlingham)

The Longworth Cup (h/c): Abel Hadden of Hurlingham (Runner-up Martin Mander of Woking)

The Centenary Doubles (h/c mixed): Nelson Morrow of Hurlingham and Susan Strong of Roehampton (Runners-up Mark Fawcett of Roehampton and Mary Knapp of Surbiton

The Jubilee Cup (x unrestricted h/c singles): Farooq Malik of Dulwich (Runner-up Patrick Swales of Hurlingham)

The Baillieu Plate (y unrestricted h/c singles): Robert Bateson of Watford (Runner-up David Mumford of Woking)

The Hurlingham Doubles (Advanced play mixed) was retained by Nelson Morrow of Hurlingham and Samantha Symonds of Surbiton with Toby Jessel of Hurlingham and Susan Edwards of
Cheltenham runners-up.

The Wine Coolers (h/c men's doubles): Russell Bretherton of Parsons Green and Peter Jankel of Roehampton (Runners-up Mike Lambert of Surbiton & Ember and Andy Dibben of Surbiton)

The Candlesticks (h/c women's doubles): Teresa Swales of Hurlingham and Deidre Cochrane of Blewbury (Runners-up Christine Osmond of Surbiton and Anne Stephens of Hurlingham)
