Chandra Shaw Won the Ryde GC C-Level

Ryde welcomed 12 entrants for this C-level Series tournament with four players from the North Island including some from as far afield as Cumbria n a day that was blessed with fine weather

The players were aligned in two blocks of six, the winner and runner up of each block competing for the right to play in the final against players of opposing blocks

Two Ryde players qualified, Chandra Shaw and Elaine Salisbury and the former won a tight final game 7-6.
Anthony Prewer claimed third position after Debra Hayns had to withdraw with an injury
The remaining 8 players played a sixth round against players from opposing blocks.
