Mark Buckley wins the GC B-Level Series Final

Using the recently introduced two block format 16 players gathered at the Hunstanton Club on the 3^rd/4^th September to partake in this very popular event. Living up to its name of Sunny Hunny the weather went against that forecast and throughout proved very pleasant at around the late 70* with light winds. The lawns although fast were in reasonable, good condition and play throughout competitive which was proved by the relatively high number of 13^th hoop finishes.

The final round between Mark and Peter Adams playing to a best of three games for the first time kept the watching crowd engrossed for some time however, Mark raising his game ran out the overall winner utilizing only two games.

The C.A. President Elect Patricia Duke-Cox presented the trophy and thanked all those present for attending some travelling from quite long distances.
