Question 80
In a doubles game, both players of one side (Side A) play balls at the same time. How should the play continue?
Answer
The side who did not play (Side B) choose whether to replace all balls moved or not, then they play either of their balls to restart the sequence.
The side who played (Side A) must choose which of their balls should be replaced. Then the non-offending side (Side B plays) plays.
Side B can decide whether to replace all balls moved or leave them. Then Side B plays the ball they did not play when they played last (i.e. they keep the same sequence).
To achieve an equitable restart, a Penalty Area Continuation is applied.
